Live Price Offers (Live Auction) FAQ 

1. How do I participate in Live Price Offers on Moolah?

To participate, a registered Moolah account is required. Join a live session and place real-time price offers during the system-timed session. Participation is free and no entry or bidding fees apply. 

2. Are there any fees to place offers?

No. Placing price offers on Moolah is completely free. There are no bidding fees, entry fees, or hidden charges to participate. 

3. How is a winner determined?

Each live session is timed and controlled by the system. When the session ends, the highest price offer at system close is accepted automatically.
If a session reaches its time limit or ends unexpectedly due to technical issues, the highest price offer at that moment is treated as the winning offer. 

4. What happens after I win?

If your price offer is the highest at session close, you will be notified immediately and redirected to an in-app checkout page to: 

  • confirm the item 
  • choose the delivery method 
  • select the payment method
  • complete payment 

A binding sale contract is formed directly between the buyer and the seller when the session closes. 

5. Is payment automatic?

Payment is not charged until checkout is completed. Checkout exists to confirm the transaction and securely complete payment.
If payment cannot be completed (for example, due to an expired card), the seller may cancel the transaction and relist the item or offer it to another eligible buyer. 

6. What happens if I don’t complete payment?

Failure to complete payment may result in:

  • cancellation of the transaction
  • relisting of the item
  • restrictions on future participation

These measures exist to ensure fairness to sellers and other participants.

7. Can I cancel or withdraw an offer?

No. Once a price offer is placed, it cannot be cancelled or withdrawn. Please place offers carefully.

8. What types of products are allowed in Live Price Offers?

Live Price Offers are intended for ordinary retail products, including but not limited to: 

  • Pokémon cards and trading cards
  • collectibles
  • fashion and lifestyle items
  • electronics and everyday consumer goods

Regulated goods, services, real estate, financial instruments, and prohibited items are not allowed

9. Are there prohibited items?

Yes. Items that are illegal, restricted, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited under Singapore law or Moolah’s platform policies are not permitted.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with all applicable laws and platform rules. Buyers must not knowingly participate in transactions involving prohibited items.
Moolah may remove listings, restrict accounts, or take other appropriate action if a violation is identified.

10. What should I do if I encounter a prohibited item?

If you come across a prohibited item, please report the listing immediately through the app so our team can review and take appropriate action.

11. Can I rely on product descriptions?

Product descriptions, images, and disclosures are provided by sellers. All items are sold “as is”, unless stated otherwise by the seller.
Buyers are encouraged to review all product details carefully before placing a price offer.

12. What if there is a technical issue during a live session?

Moolah strives to provide a smooth experience but is not responsible for technical disruptions.
If a significant issue occurs, Moolah may pause, reschedule, or cancel the session. If a session ends unexpectedly, the highest price offer at that moment may be treated as the winning offer.

13. What if I don’t receive the item I won?

If you do not receive your item, please contact support@moolah.com.sg immediately. We will assist in resolving the issue according to platform policies. 

14. How are disputes handled?

Disputes are handled in accordance with Singapore law. Moolah operates as a technology platform and is not the seller of goods. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders and resolving product-related issues.

15. Can these terms change? 

Yes. Moolah may update or modify Live Price Offer features or terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
